Welcome, friends.

I am delighted to have you here.

If I could, I’d make you a pot of tea and serve you a hearty scone or two. But since we are in the digital sphere—allow this to be my version of that, would you? I hope you find in this corner of the internet, a place in which you will feel refreshed and uplifted in the midst of an otherwise chaotic world. It would be my pleasure to have you join me at Thuja Hill as we garden, bake, and develop our skills together in the art of Christian homemaking.

In the words of Edith Shaeffer, “Remember that He who created you to be creative gave you the things with which to make beauty and gave you the sensitivity to appreciate and respond to His creation. Creativity is His gift to you and the 'raw materials' to be put together in various ways are His gift to you as well.”

As we venture into the loveliness of growing in the art of Christian homemaking, it is my sincerest hope that you would find in your heart more love for the calling to which Christ has called you. First, as a Christian, and second, as a woman who makes the home a warm and inviting spot for those in her midst.

Soli Deo Gloria!
